"Aggravating Buggies" is a parody of "Alligator Baggies"
Invented in 1963 by Colgate-Palmolive, the Baggies brand was sold to Pactiv in the 1980's and added to their Hefty line of plastic bags.
1971 Baggies Commercial
Buggies was destined for the 4th Series of Wacky Packages, but Topps dropped it before production began. Buggies appeared on a 2nd Series sheet (below) as an alternate title, along with six other 4th Series wackys.
